Website design and development

We design and build websites for businesses and organisations of every size. Every build is quoted as a fixed scope in writing, meets WCAG 2.2 AA, and is set up so your team can edit pages without a developer. Launch builds start from £2,500 and typically go live in two to three weeks.

What’s included

A written scope before design starts
We start with your goals, your customers and the people who will edit the site, then agree the scope and price in writing.
Design for desktop and mobile
Page designs built around your content and brand. Launch builds use our design system; Core and Custom builds are fully bespoke.
A build your team can edit
Usually WordPress for content-led sites, or React and Next.js where a site needs more custom functionality. The domain, hosting and code are registered to you.
Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA
Built in from the first design and checked before launch, not added at the end.
Forms, payments and bookings that work
Your enquiry forms and any payment or booking platform connected and tested end to end before launch.
Launch and training
Domain, SSL and analytics set up, plus a recorded training session your team can rewatch and share with new staff.

How it works

  1. 1. Discovery

Goals, audiences, content and success measures, agreed in writing.

  2. 2. Design

Page designs for your review. Nothing moves forward without your sign-off.

  3. 3. Build

Development on a private staging site, with weekly written updates.

  4. 4. Review

A staging walkthrough, your revisions and a final quality check.

  5. 5. Launch

Go-live, redirects, analytics and team training.

Weekly written updates throughout. No phase starts without your approval on the last one.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a website cost?

Our Launch builds start from £2,500, Core builds are £4,500 to £7,000, and Custom platforms start at £7,000. The price depends on the number of page types, the integrations you need and how much of the design is bespoke. Every project is quoted as a fixed scope in writing before work begins.

How long does it take to build a website?

Launch builds typically go live in two to three weeks and Core builds in four to six weeks. Custom platforms are scoped in discovery. The biggest factor is usually how quickly content and feedback come back from your side.

Which platform do you build websites on?

Usually WordPress for content-led sites, because it is widely supported and straightforward for non-technical teams to edit, or React and Next.js where a site needs more custom functionality. Either way, the domain, hosting, code and content are registered to you, so you are never locked in to us.

Can our team edit the website ourselves?

Yes. We set up the editor so changing a page takes minutes, and launch includes a recorded training session for current and future staff.
